Since a growing consensus among readers seems to be that DREAMING NICARAGUA is more fun if you hear it read aloud by the author than simply slogging through the text, I offer these samples from the book in MP3 format. You can listen to it directly on your computer, or you can put it on an iPod or transfer it to a CD for listening at your leisure, even in your car. Let me know how you like this approach. If there’s enough positive response I will produce a (slightly abridged) AudioBook of the entire novel.
For each sample, copy the URL below and paste it into a new browser window. Then either play it or “save page as” which will download it to your desktop, if you so specify. (Google Chrome is more willing to perform this operation than Safari is)
